The Debutante Ball is a showcase of the latest generation of Dutch animation graduates. Even though the
COVID-19 crisis keeps making it hard for us to connect in real life, we want to continue to connect graduates of
2021 & 2022 with the Industry. As a festival we think it’s crucial to support their creativity and help them
accessing the market and networking with the professionals.

We hope to host a physical event on the 29th of March, where a selected group of graduates can present
their showreel to our Industry audience. Next to that all showreels will be featured in our online catalogue
for the animation industry during our festival in 2022.

A group of professionals will select 10 students from submitted showreels, that we’ll connect to 10 producers
and key industry professionals for a speed date session at our Young Professional Day on the 29th of March.
