Open Call 2021 

The European Space Agency (ESA) invites screenwriters to submit proposals for short films about European space exploration. The competition is split into 3 categories: animation, documentary and fiction. Applicants can only submit in 1 category.

Awards
12 finalists (4 in each of the 3 categories) wil each receive access to ESA experts and €5,000 development aid. The 3 final winners (1 in each of the 3 categories) will receive production aid.

How to apply?
You have to be a citizen of the Member States, Associate Members and Cooperating States of the European Space Agency: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, Canada and Slovenia.
