⚪ Take the Omroep Zwart Route ⚪

Put on your hiking shoes, we’re going on a trip! 🏃‍♀️

Exciting news! Together with Omroep Zwart, we are bringing you an unmissable 3-part bundle of destinations. Explore all three together through a discounted ticket.

And the best part? It’s perfect for the whole family, kids included! 👫

1: Feature Film – Knit’s Island directed by Quentin L’helgoualc’h, Ekiem Barbier, Guilhem Causse

Equipped with cameras, the directors spent a whopping 963 hours inside the survivalist game DayZ. Who are these people they meet on the way who dedicate countless hours to this virtual reality? In this free space, they all allow themselves to become anyone they desire.

2: Shorts – Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home)

In his song, Marvin Gaye chants that home is wherever one chooses to lay their hat. While Gaye wasn’t necessarily wrong in those lyrics, many people don’t choose to leave home. This program summons stories about forced migration, dreaming of a better life “Abroad”, and all kinds of travels.

3: Panel – Unlearning Motherhood

The mental and physcial load of motherhood is a challenge that would put to shame even the greatest male superhero. Through a panel talk intertwined with a curated short film programme, Kaboom and Omroep Zwart try to offer a nuanced exploration of the maternal experience.

Moderated by Juliana Erazo.
